What is the AWS Cloud course at Cokonet Academy?

AWS Cloud is Cokonet's AWS Cloud Architect Program: 80 to 85 hours of instructor-led training and hands-on labs across five modules, spread over about 4.5 months. You design and operate real AWS infrastructure, covering identity and account structure, VPC networking and high availability, compute, storage and databases, automation, serverless and monitoring, then the AWS Well-Architected Framework and a full capstone architecture you have to cost and defend. The program is aligned to the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam (SAA-C03) and to Cloud Infrastructure Analyst, QP Code SSC/Q8304, at NSQF Level 6. Learn classroom in Trivandrum, Kochi and Bengaluru, or online-live across Kerala and the Gulf.

What you walk out able to do

Five outcomes, written the way an architect is judged.

Each module of the program declares its own outcome. Put together, they are the five things a hiring manager checks before they let you near a production account.

Secure the account first

Understand cloud computing models, the AWS global infrastructure and the shared responsibility model, then design least-privilege IAM, multi-account structures with AWS Organizations, MFA, roles and cost controls.

Design the network

Build secure, scalable and highly available AWS networks: custom VPCs, subnets, route tables, internet and NAT gateways, peering, VPN, endpoints, Route 53, CloudFront, security groups and network ACLs.

Deploy compute, storage and data

Run EC2 across Linux and Windows, manage EBS snapshots and AMIs, design S3 with versioning, lifecycle, replication and encryption, add EFS and AWS Backup, and stand up RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB.

Automate and observe

Automate deployments with CloudFormation and Systems Manager, monitor with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and EventBridge, and build event-driven solutions with Lambda, SNS, SQS, API Gateway and Kinesis.

Architect and justify

Apply all six Well-Architected pillars, produce an architecture diagram, estimate monthly cost in the AWS Pricing Calculator and present the design as if you were proposing it to a client.

Why now

Why AWS Cloud, and why now.

Enterprises are still moving workloads out of their own data centres, and every migration needs someone who can design the target, not just click through a console. That designer role, the cloud architect, is where the shortage sits. NASSCOM has repeatedly flagged that a large share of Indian graduates are not job-ready in exactly these applied skills, which is why a hands-on architecture course beats another certificate of attendance.

2027Migration keeps hiring open

Cloud migration and automation programmes are the stated demand driver through 2027 in the program brief for this course.

NSQF 6A nationally mapped role

Aligned to Cloud Infrastructure Analyst, QP Code SSC/Q8304, under IT-ITeS SSC NASSCOM and NCVET.

SAA-C03The credential employers name

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam is the benchmark most cloud job descriptions list first.

Why it is a smart move for you

No coding gate

Architecture is a design discipline. You can enter from a non-programming background and still be genuinely employable, which is rare in tech.

The skill travels

AWS looks the same in Kochi, Dubai and London. The same account you build in class is the account an employer abroad expects you to reason about.

You own the cost conversation

Architects who can defend a bill get promoted. Cost optimisation is a full pillar of the framework and a full section of this course.

AI raises the floor, not the ceiling

AI can draft a template. Deciding the availability model, the blast radius and the recovery objective is still a human judgement call, and that is what you are trained in here.

Eligibility

Is the AWS Cloud course right for you?

The program is written for three groups: fresh graduates who need a first job that is not going to be automated away, career switchers moving in from support, networking, testing or non-IT roles, and working professionals who want the architect title rather than another tool.

A strong fit if you are
  • A fresh graduate in any stream, engineering or otherwise
  • A career switcher coming from support, networking, testing or a non-IT role
  • A working IT professional who wants to design infrastructure, not just maintain it
  • A system or network administrator moving on-premise skills into AWS
  • Preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam
What you will need
  • No programming background required
  • Comfort with a computer, a browser console and a command line
  • About 6 hours a week for roughly 4.5 months
  • A laptop; AWS account access for labs is arranged in the course
Not sure whether to pick AWS Cloud or DevOps on AWS?A counsellor reviews your background and tells you honestly which of the two fits. Free, no pressure.

Three architecture builds, reviewed like client work

Design exerciseHighly available three-tier VPC

Design a three-tier network and then a highly available web application on it: EC2 behind an ALB with Auto Scaling, RDS for data and S3 for objects. Then break it and fix it, from unhealthy targets to route table faults.

FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

If yours is not here, a counsellor answers it on a 20-minute call.

What is the AWS Cloud course at Cokonet Academy? +
It is the AWS Cloud Architect Program: 80 to 85 hours across five modules over about 4.5 months, built around designing and running real AWS infrastructure. You cover identity and account design, VPC networking and high availability, compute, storage and databases, automation and serverless, then the Well-Architected Framework and a full capstone architecture. It is aligned to the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam (SAA-C03) and to the NSQF Level 6 Cloud Infrastructure Analyst qualification, with placement support until you are hired.
How is this different from the DevOps on AWS course? +
They are two separate courses for two different jobs. DevOps on AWS is about the delivery pipeline: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI and CD, and shipping code to production repeatedly. AWS Cloud is about the architecture underneath it: how you design the account structure, the network, the availability model, the storage tiering and the cost envelope, and then defend those decisions to a client. If you want to build and run pipelines, take DevOps on AWS. If you want to design the platform, take AWS Cloud. A counsellor will tell you honestly which one fits.
Do I need coding or IT experience to join? +
No programming background is required. The course is built for fresh graduates, career switchers and working professionals moving into cloud. You need to be comfortable using a computer and willing to work in a command line and a browser console. Basic networking awareness helps but is taught from first principles in Module 2.
Which certification does this course prepare me for? +
The AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam, code SAA-C03. Module 5 is dedicated to architecture patterns, best practices, mock tests and weak-area review. The exam itself is booked with AWS and paid separately, and the course also maps the path onward to the Solutions Architect Professional certification.
What does NSQF Level 6 alignment mean for me? +
The program is aligned to Cloud Infrastructure Analyst, QP Code SSC/Q8304, at NSQF Level 6, under the IT-ITeS Sector Skill Council (SSC NASSCOM) and NCVET. In plain terms it means the skill set has been mapped to a nationally recognised job role rather than defined only by us, which matters to employers and to some scholarship and government skilling routes.
Will I work on a real AWS account or just watch demos? +
You work in a real AWS account throughout. Every module carries hands-on labs and troubleshooting scenarios: broken internet gateways, NAT and route table faults, unhealthy load balancer targets, lost key pairs, EBS volume recovery, S3 access denied errors, Lambda permission failures and CloudFormation rollbacks. Diagnosing a broken environment is the skill interviews test.
How long is the course and how much time does it need each week? +
Roughly 80 to 85 hours of instructor-led training and labs spread over about 4.5 months. Module hours run 14, 18, 26, 14 and 13. Weekday-evening and weekend batches exist so working professionals can keep up, and every session is recorded for revision.
Is it online or classroom, and is Malayalam support available? +
Both. Live online across Kerala and the Gulf, and classroom at our Trivandrum and Kochi centres, with Bengaluru also available. Sessions run in clear English with Malayalam support when you need it.
