“After a 3.5-year career gap I walked into the Ulloor centre with no confidence. The SAP MM classroom batch and the mock interviews changed everything. I am now a Senior Associate Consultant at Infosys.”
Keerthy KC SAP MM · now at InfosysA real campus you can walk into, live SAP server access on your own machine, and trainers who still work as consultants. Classroom, hybrid and online-live batches in SAP FICO, MM, ABAP and SuccessFactors — with placement support that continues until you are hired.
Cokonet Academy is an SAP and IT training institute that has operated from its own campus at Peedikayil Chambers, Ulloor, Thiruvananthapuram since 2010. It is the head office, not a franchise desk — the trainers, the labs, the placement team and the counsellors all sit in this building. Around 15,000 people have come through the programmes, the Google rating sits at 4.7 across 405 reviews, and the academy is an NSDC / Skill India partner and works with the Government of Kerala ASAP programme. If you are searching for an SAP academy in Trivandrum, the useful thing you can do next is come and see it: walk in any day between 9:30 AM and 10 PM, Monday to Saturday, and ask to sit in on a live batch.
Six SAP tracks run from Ulloor. Each one runs classroom, hybrid and online-live, and each is 4–5 months for a single module. The module you should pick is decided almost entirely by your degree and work history, not by which one sounds most in demand.
Finance and Controlling on S/4HANA: general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, cost centre and profit centre accounting, month-end close. The highest-demand module in Kerala and the Gulf for commerce graduates.
SAP FICO in Trivandrum →Materials Management: procurement cycle, purchase requisitions and orders, vendor master, inventory management, invoice verification, and the MM–FI integration points interviewers always probe.
SAP MM in Trivandrum →The SAP programming language: reports, ALV, data dictionary, BDC and LSMW, smart forms, enhancements and user exits. The technical route into SAP, and the one that pays best early.
SAP ABAP in Trivandrum →Cloud HR: employee central, recruiting, onboarding, performance and goals, compensation. Heavily recruited across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and one of the few SAP routes open to non-technical HR backgrounds.
SAP SuccessFactors in Trivandrum →OData, CDS views, RAP, Fiori integration and S/4HANA-era ABAP. For people already writing ABAP who need the modern stack to stay employable.
SAP ABAP Advanced →Plant Maintenance: technical objects, maintenance orders, preventive maintenance plans, breakdown handling. Strong demand in manufacturing and in Gulf oil, gas and utilities.
SAP PM →This is the question the counselling call exists to answer, but here is the honest short version so you can arrive already thinking about it.
| Your background | Usually the right module | Why |
|---|---|---|
| B.Com / M.Com / CA inter / accountant | SAP FICO | Your accounting knowledge is the hard part, and you already have it. FICO is mostly learning how SAP expresses what you know. |
| BBA / MBA Finance | SAP FICO | Same reasoning, plus the controlling side maps to what you studied in cost and management accounting. |
| Mechanical / Civil / Production B.Tech | SAP MM or SAP PM | Procurement and maintenance are engineering-adjacent. You will follow the process logic faster than a commerce graduate would. |
| Store keeper, purchase executive, warehouse | SAP MM | You have already lived the process manually. The module is the digital version of your day job, which reads very well in interviews. |
| B.Tech CS / BCA / MCA / IT | SAP ABAP | Programming background transfers directly, and ABAP roles are the fastest-growing SAP openings in Technopark and Infopark. |
| MBA HR / psychology / HR executive | SAP SuccessFactors | One of the few high-value SAP paths that does not need finance or coding, and Gulf HR teams hire for it constantly. |
| Career gap of 2–5 years | FICO or MM | Both are process-heavy rather than memorisation-heavy, and both have enough volume of openings that a gap is not disqualifying. |
| Already working, want a raise not a switch | Module matching your current function | Adding SAP to domain experience you already have is worth far more than starting a new domain from zero. |
If none of these describe you cleanly, that is normal and it is exactly what the free call is for. We will also tell you if SAP is the wrong answer for you — sometimes data analytics or full stack is the better fit for a given background, and saying so costs us a sale but keeps our placement numbers honest.
Cokonet is not an online-only reseller. Every SAP module runs as a live classroom batch at our own Ulloor campus — the same building the academy has taught from for 16 years, a short ride from Technopark, Kesavadasapuram and Pattom.
Batch start dates and seat availability change weekly. Call +91 80754 00500 or drop into the centre — a counsellor will tell you the next Every SAP module classroom batch date honestly, including if the next one is a month away.
There are a lot of options in this city and the marketing all sounds identical. Use this checklist on every institute you shortlist, including us. If an answer is vague, that is the answer.
We wrote a longer version of this comparison, covering fee structures and the specific claims to be sceptical of, here: how to choose an SAP institute in Trivandrum. It names no competitors and is meant to be usable even if you pick someone else.
Three separate markets open up once you have an SAP module and a project portfolio, and they want different things from you.
Technopark hosts SAP practices and support teams, and manufacturing, hospitals, retail chains and logistics companies across the state run SAP internally. Entry roles here are typically SAP support or associate consultant. Kerala salaries start lower than metros but the cost of living difference and the ability to stay near home matter to most of our learners. Kochi's Infopark adds a second cluster within commuting or relocation distance.
The largest volume of SAP openings in India. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, IBM and a long tail of SAP partners hire continuously. Most of our alumni who want the fastest salary growth take a first role here for two to three years, then either stay or come back to Kerala at a much higher band.
SAP is the ERP standard across large Gulf employers, and Malayali candidates are already the backbone of that workforce. FICO, MM and SuccessFactors travel especially well. The realistic path is one to three years of India experience first, then a Gulf move at a considerably higher package — direct fresher hiring from India into Gulf SAP roles happens but is much rarer than the advertising suggests, and we would rather tell you that now.
Salary ranges by module and experience are broken down here: SAP FICO salary guide, SAP MM salary guide, SAP ABAP salary guide.

Open in Google MapsJudge any Trivandrum SAP institute on five things: does it own a physical classroom you can visit, does it give you individual live SAP server access, are the trainers working consultants, will it show you named placed alumni, and will it tell you the real batch date instead of "starting soon".
