Learner stories

Hear it from people who have done it.

We publish filmed interviews rather than written quotes, so you can judge for yourself. Not every batch has a filmed story yet, and we would rather point you at the channel than invent one.

Watch the filmed interviews

Our YouTube channel carries unscripted interviews with learners who finished a Cokonet course and moved into an SAP, data, cloud or design role. Nobody in them is an actor, and we do not put words in anyone's mouth.

The placement team can put you on a call with a UI UX Design learner who is now working in the field, so you can ask about the syllabus, the trainers and the interviews without a counsellor in the middle.

Why now

Why UI/UX design, and why now.

Every app and website that frustrates you is a company losing money, and UI/UX designers exist to stop that. India's product boom keeps demand strong, and AI has shifted the job toward what it always should have been: research, judgement and taste.

$100Return per $1 on UX

The most-quoted ROI figure in design exists because usability sells.

ProductIndia builds, not just codes

Startups and GCC product teams hire designers, not just developers.

AIRaises the taste bar

AI drafts screens; designers who research and decide become more valuable.

Why it is a smart move for you

Research-first training

You learn to find the real problem before drawing a single screen.

Figma at professional depth

Auto layout, components, variables: the craft interviews actually test.

Case studies, not dribbble shots

Portfolios here tell problem-to-outcome stories hiring managers respect.

AI-assisted, judgement-led

Use AI for drafts and variants while owning the decisions that matter.

FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

If yours isn't here, a counsellor answers it on a 20-minute call.

What is the difference between UI/UX and graphic design? +
Graphic design communicates messages; UI/UX designs how products work. This course centres research, flows and testing, with visual craft serving usability. Graphic designers who cross over do well here.
Do I need to draw or code? +
Neither. Figma replaces drawing skill with construction skill, and while we build developer empathy with an HTML/CSS taste module, no coding is required for design roles.
Is a portfolio really more important than a certificate? +
In design hiring, decisively yes. Interviews walk through your case studies for an hour. That is why two defended capstones and case-study writing consume the final third of this course.
What does a UI/UX designer earn in India? +
Juniors typically start between Rs 3 and 5.5 lakh, with product designers reaching Rs 5.5 to 10 within two to three years. GCC and remote product roles push bands higher.
Will AI design tools take these jobs? +
AI now drafts screens in seconds, which moves the paid work to research, judgement and system thinking, exactly what this course over-invests in. Designers who only pushed pixels are the ones at risk.
Can graphic designers or developers switch through this course? +
Both switch well. Designers arrive with visual craft and add research and product rigour; developers arrive with build empathy and add user thinking. Case studies frame your prior work as an advantage.
Is it online or classroom, and is Malayalam support available? +
Both. In-person batches in Trivandrum, Kochi and Bengaluru, plus live online batches across Kerala and the GCC. Sessions are in clear English with Malayalam support.
Do you guarantee a job after the course? +
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We provide structured placement support and real introductions across 400+ corporate partners, with support continuing six months after you finish.
