What is the SAP ABAP Advanced course? +
It is a separate course from SAP ABAP: the modern, cloud ABAP upgrade for developers who already know classical ABAP. You master CDS view modelling, RESTful ABAP (RAP), Clean Core extensibility and the SAP BTP ABAP environment on a live S/4HANA system, aligned to the C_ABAPD_2507 certification, with placement support until you are hired.
How is this different from the SAP ABAP course? +
The SAP ABAP course teaches classical ABAP fundamentals: reports, the data dictionary, object-oriented ABAP and enhancements. SAP ABAP Advanced assumes you already have that and takes you into modern cloud ABAP: CDS, RAP, Clean Core tiers and BTP. They are two separate courses. Take SAP ABAP first if you are new to ABAP.
Do I need to know classical ABAP before joining? +
Yes. This is an advanced course. You should already know classical ABAP, or have completed our SAP ABAP course, or be a working ABAP developer. A counsellor confirms your fit before you enrol.
What is RAP, the RESTful Application Programming model? +
RAP is SAP's modern framework for building OData services and Fiori applications on S/4HANA and BTP. You define a CDS data model, add a behaviour definition for create, update and delete, expose a service and consume it in Fiori Elements. It is where new ABAP development happens.
Which certification does this course prepare me for? +
The C_ABAPD_2507 exam, SAP Certified Associate Back-End Developer for ABAP Cloud. The course builds in timed mock tests and a weak-area review. The official exam is booked through SAP and charged separately.
Will I get hands-on practice on SAP BTP? +
Yes. You build a small RAP service on the BTP ABAP environment (Steampunk), consume it from Fiori and deploy it, plus a full end-to-end capstone: CDS to behaviour to service to Fiori Elements UI.
How long is the course and how much time does it need? +
24 live sessions of about 2 hours each, roughly 46 hours over about 3 months. Weekday-evening and weekend options exist so working developers can keep up.
Is it online or classroom, and is Malayalam support available? +
Both. Live online across Kerala and the Gulf, and classroom at our Trivandrum and Kochi centres. Sessions are in clear English with Malayalam support.
