The course is therefore built around a running environment you own from the first weeks — Linux and networking fundamentals, core AWS services, Terraform for infrastructure as code, Docker and Kubernetes, CI and CD pipelines, monitoring and alerting, and the security basics around identity, least privilege and secrets. You break things deliberately and practise recovering. You also learn to read a bill, because cost is a genuine part of the job.
