Advanced Excel runs through all of it, because in practice most accountants spend as much time in a spreadsheet as in accounting software.

Where you take it afterwards is a real decision worth making early. One direction is depth in compliance and audit work, which is stable and steadily paid. Another is ERP — moving into SAP FICO or a similar system, which is how accountants in Kerala most often make a substantial jump in earnings, and a route we can map for you at the counselling stage. A third is financial analysis and MIS reporting, where accounting knowledge combined with Excel and data skills opens roles inside larger companies. None of these are automatic, and none happen in six months.
